We hand-select every piece of wood used in our boards, sourcing only the most exceptional domestic and exotic hardwoods. Among our domestic selections, you’ll find rich Black Walnut, Hard Maple, and Cherry—each revered for its durability and timeless aesthetic. For a bold, distinctive touch, we incorporate exotics like African Padauk, Purpleheart, Zebrawood, and Wenge. These premium species are chosen not only for their striking natural colors and grain patterns but also for their resilience and structural integrity.

Our wood selection process is guided by attention to grain orientation, color harmony, and structural soundness. We don’t use mass-produced stock or lower-grade lumber—each piece is purposefully chosen to create a board with both visual appeal and long-term performance. No two boards are alike; each one showcases a unique personality formed by the natural variation in wood grain, tone, and pattern.
